Terms of use and notice about your data

Al-Rafeeq is a volunteer programme that accompanies new Muslims in Brazil. Please read this carefully before continuing.

1. What data we keep

   Name, e-mail, WhatsApp, city and state, and your progress in the programme (levels, lessons, contacts with your mentor). We do not ask for official documents.

2. Why we use it

   Only to follow you, suggest a mentor and connect you with the community and mosques near you.

3. Who sees your data

   Only the team responsible for you (mentor, lead mentor and coordination). Only the coordination sees the gift delivery address. We do not sell or pass your data to third parties.

4. What you choose to show

   A public profile, appearing to Muslims in your city and your WhatsApp are optional and can be turned off at any time. The programme is not responsible for what happens in direct conversations with other members outside the platform.

5. Religious content and guidance

   Lessons and answers are educational guidance from volunteers. The halal checker uses artificial intelligence: it is guidance, not a fatwa. For important matters, consult people of knowledge.

6. Your information

   You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide. Do not share sensitive data that is not needed.

7. Your rights (LGPD)

   You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, through the chat with the coordination.

8. Security

   We protect the data with technical measures, but no system is risk-free. Keep your password safe and do not share it.

9. Changes

   These terms may be updated. We will let you know on the platform.
